Building connection, resilience and emotional well-being with families
Building connection, resilience and emotional well-being with families

With nearly three decades of experience supporting children, youth, and families, Marsha Coward brings depth, steadiness, and real world expertise to her work.
Marsha began her career in residential care and day treatment programs, later expanding into hospital-based mental health, community case management, child protection, and school board settings. She has worked with young people navigating anxiety, trauma, behavioural challenges, family conflict, and emotional regulation difficulties.
Her approach is trauma-informed, relationship-based, and grounded in practical skill-building. Drawing from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), exposure-based strategies, and attachment-focused practices. Marsha helps children and families move from crisis to stability and from survival to growth.
Families often describe her as calm in high stress moments, direct yet compassionate, and deeply committed to helping young people feel seen, understood, and capable.
Marsha believes that co-regulation is the foundation for change. When caregivers feel supported and equipped, children thrive. Her work focuses not only on the child, but on strengthening the entire system around them.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child and Youth Care and a Diploma in Child and Youth Work.
Connection lies at the heart of our work. As Child and Youth Care Practitioners, we foster a calm and supportive environment where children, youth, and their caregivers can safely explore their challenges while building trust together.
